Now Hiring: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Medical Oncology (Head & Neck)
Join Our Growing Oncology Team!
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Head & Neck Medical Oncology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized oncologists while providing exceptional, patient-centered care to individuals throughout their cancer journey.
Schedule details: Monday-Friday (no call, no weekends) from 8am-5pm in ambulatory clinic.
Position Highlights:
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver comprehensive care for patients with head and neck cancers.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing care.
• Monitor treatment response, manage symptoms and side effects, and provide patient education.
• Participate in survivorship care, supportive care, and clinical decision-making.

Clinical :
• Provide care for medical oncology patients with genitourinary (bladder, prostate, renal, etc) cancers as well as head and neck cancers
• Perform routine follow up visits for patients on chemotherapy, immunotherapy and hormonal therapies
• Evaluate patients requiring acute symptom management
• Manage patients in longitudinal survivorship post-treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including research coordinators, social workers, dieticians, surgeons, radiologists and pathologists
• Perform and document history & physical exams, and analyze clinical data to form well-developed differential diagnoses.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, following patient responses, and adjusting the plan of care based on ongoing objective and subjective data collection.
• Identify appropriate sub-specialist consultation.
• Effectively communicate plans of care with patients, families, nurses, and other stakeholders; and navigate complex psychosocial dynamics.
Qualifications:
• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current NP or PA license (or eligibility for licensure) in the applicable state.
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Prior oncology, chemotherapy, or advanced practice experience beneficial. OCN or AOCNP certification a plus.
• Oncology experience preferred; new graduates with strong oncology interest may be considered.
• Excellent communication, clinical, and collaborative skills.
