Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator (Oncology) to support clinical education initiatives across multiple healthcare facilities. This position is based at the Central Office and requires travel to select facilities. The Nurse Educator will provide staff education, competency development, and evidence-based clinical training while promoting high-quality oncology nursing practice.

Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver educational programs for nursing staff.
• Provide clinical instruction, competency validation, and ongoing staff development.
• Support evidence-based nursing practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and educate clinical staff in both inpatient and outpatient oncology settings.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and implement training plans.
• Maintain compliance with organizational, regulatory, and professional standards.
• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities to conduct education and training sessions.

Required Qualifications
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program (MSN preferred).
• Active New York State RN License with NYSED Primary Source Verification.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical background.

Required Certifications
• Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certification.
• Current Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN).
• MSN with an Education background.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Oncology Nurse Educator experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
