Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology Med/Surg, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with medical professionals to deliver personalized and compassionate services, adhering to our established nursing models – “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” You will advocate for patients and their families, ensuring that every individual receives the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, quickly identifying and communicating any changes in status.
• Implement procedures and care plans as directed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in medical records.
• Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses, taking necessary actions for any adverse reactions.
• Provide outstanding patient care by anticipating needs and addressing requests promptly.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment options, and medications, ensuring their understanding of complex information.

Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current nursing license as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice or active compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
