Role: Oncology Med Surg Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult oncology patients on a medical-surgical unit
Manage complex oncology and med-surg cases, including administering chemotherapy and supportive therapies
Monitor patients for potential complications and provide timely interventions
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and care
Collaborate closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives
Support a culture of compassion, teamwork, and continuous learning

Qualifications & Skills

Current Registered Nurse licensure
Experience in oncology and medical-surgical nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment
