As a Medical Director at Parexel, you will:
• Provide medical monitoring for assigned projects and act as the primary medical representative on project teams.
• Offer medical consultation to clients and various Parexel service groups as needed.
• Review individual adverse experience reports for accuracy and clinical relevance.
• Submit periodic reports to the FDA or other regulatory agencies, summarizing adverse experiences as required.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and liaise with the project team, sponsor, investigator, and FDA as necessary.
• Assess documents from different Parexel divisions for safety-related content.
• Ensure accurate coding of adverse events and concomitant medications.
• Support preparation of clinical protocols, integrated clinical and statistical summary reports, and journal articles.
• Present at internal and external meetings and conferences, as requested.
Required Qualifications:
• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification in Oncology or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 2 years in adult oncology.
• Preferred experience as a Medical Monitor, Industry Physician, Primary Investigator, or Sub-Investigator.
Successful candidates will possess:
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with sponsors and clients.
• Excellent time-management abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in a medical context.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• A collaborative mindset for working in a matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as needed.
