## About this opportunity
We are seeking an Oncology Field Medical Director, Malignant Hematology to provide therapeutic area and product expertise across a broad range of medical customer segments and initiatives in an assigned territory (which may include Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia). This is a remote, field-based assignment (Work Location Assignment: Remote

### How you'll contribute
You will plan and execute medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within your territory, coordinating compliantly with Pfizer colleagues to achieve medical objectives. Maintain a required level of knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas/disease states and Pfizer medicines, and serve as a conduit for Medical Information and customer insights. You will deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics, respond to direct unsolicited medical requests from HCPs with truthful, accurate, and scientifically supported information, and field inbound queries via the established triage process.
In collaboration with Global Medical Affairs and Oncology Research & Development/Global Product Development (GPD), you will help identify potential sites for Pfizer-sponsored clinical trials, including sites serving under-represented patient populations, and provide appropriate Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process. You will cultivate research and therapeutic area expertise, including familiarity with the latest congress data and disease state literature, and you may serve on Medical and/or TA and asset cross-functional committees and represent Pfizer Medical Affairs with clinical/professional associations and/or societies.
You will demonstrate expertise in multiple communication channels (live and virtual presentations, written communication, telephone/virtual conversations) and optimize patient centricity of Medical communications and deliverables, incorporating Health Literacy and cultural awareness principles.
Operate a Pfizer company car and regularly fly on airplanes (i.e. attend HCP/customer meetings; attend NYHQ meetings, regional and national scientific meetings, etc. required; proximity to airline 'hub' city); maintain flexibility to travel 60-80% of time. Ability to work on weekends occasionally (e.g. attend advisory boards and congress meetings) is required. Mentorship expectations include onboarding partner, ad board and study lead mentor. Participate in special projects as needed.
### Education, experience, and other requirements
MD or DO Degree required. 4+ years of relevant experience required. You should be a subject matter expert recognized across internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and create business impact. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and respond to multiple external and internal customers' demands and manage and handle conflict constructively.
You must be able to manage a significant volume of projects developed in a remote environment, prioritize effectively, implement successfully, exercise excellent judgment, and work in a continuous improvement environment. Rapid adoption and utilization of new digital technology and other resources with medical customers and recording medical interactions is expected.
Preferred qualifications include expertise/clinical experience in Malignant Hematology, familiarity with internal/external SOPs/Rules/Regulations regarding Pfizer/customer interactions and relationships, and previous Field Medical experience.
### Compensation and benefits
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $230,900.00 to $384,800.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
