Job Description

Experteer Overview
In this role you drive medical strategy and engagement for malignant hematology in a multi-state territory, shaping scientific discussions with healthcare professionals. You collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and R&D to integrate clinical data into field tactics and ensure patient-centric medical communications. You stay current on disease states and Pfizer medicines, provide scientifically sound information, and support investigator-initiated research. Expect significant field leadership and travel to connect with the ecosystem.

Compensation / Benefits
• Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers in the territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues
• Maintain expertise in TA/disease areas and Pfizer medicines for internal and external stakeholders
• Serve as Medical Information conduit and share customer insights with Pfizer as appropriate
• Contribute to Medical content strategy and align Field Medical tactics with Medical Affairs priorities
• Maintain communication and collaboration among HQ Medical, Medical Information, and Field Medical teams
• Deliver medical content across multiple channels (presentations, written, calls)
• Enhance patient centricity in communications using health literacy and cultural awareness
• Identify medical engagement opportunities with priority customer segments; respond to unsolicited HCP inquiries
• Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and Oncology R&D to identify sites for Pfizer-sponsored trials and ISR processes
• Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process
• Cultivate therapeutic area expertise and keep up with congress data and literature
• Lead asset-related activities and contribute to cross-functional committees
• Represent Medical Affairs in professional associations and maintain medical professionalism
• Mentor onboarding partners and study leads; participate in special projects

Tasks
• MD or DO Degree
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Subject matter expert across internal and external stakeholders
• Breadth of leadership experiences and ability to influence and collaborate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict management
• Ability to manage substantial remote projects with prioritization and judgment
• Matrixed team collaboration and strong Pfizer/customer relationships
• Change agility and adaptability to evolving healthcare environment
• Willingness to travel 60-80% and operate a Pfizer company car
