Position Summary:
The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all departmental functions during designated shifts. You will collaborate with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care per established policies. Your leadership will help foster an environment committed to the organization's vision and enhance the overall patient experience.
Your Responsibilities:
• Oversee admission and discharge processes for efficient patient flow and care quality.
• Participate in continuous assessment and improvement of patient care services with management.
• Foster teamwork with colleagues to enhance service quality and outcomes.
• Embrace a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies to boost team engagement, such as employee rounding initiatives.
• Contribute to staff management by assisting in interviewing, training, and development, as well as performance evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling to match patient care needs with effective labor management.
• Help manage inventory and supplies for optimal clinical function.
Qualifications:
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply. BLS Certification required. ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
