Responsibilities
In our bustling 53-chair outpatient oncology treatment unit, you will:
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and advanced cancer therapies.
• Provide education, therapeutic communication, and emotional support to patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to innovate treatments and advance research.

Key Accountabilities
• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and transitions of care.
• Support a continuum of professional nursing practice to cater to patient and family needs.
• Accountable for planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating nursing care phases.
• Provide leadership and mentoring roles, participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, and patient needs.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and mentorship skills; may engage in committees or projects.
New Graduate Nurses

Qualifications
To qualify for this role:
• Must be a graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Entry-level associate degree nurses must provide documented completion of a baccalaureate degree within five years from the date of RN licensure.
Additional Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a team-centered environment.
• Computer proficiency; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and effective critical thinking skills.
Licensure and Certification (to be obtained before starting):
• Current RN licensure as per state requirements.
• BLS certification must be valid for 90 days post start date; acceptable certifications include AHA, Military Training Network, or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers.
• Any additional state licensure or specialty certification as required by the unit.
Compensation Details
The pay range for this position is $35.84 - $58.84. Our innovative nursing compensation model rewards experience and education in addition to dedication, enabling you to maximize your professional growth and earning potential.
Schedule
This is a part-time role, requiring approximately 48-56 hours per pay period. Hours are typically Monday through Friday during the day with either 8 or 10-hour shifts. Weekend shifts may be required 2-3 times a year.
