Responsibilities
• Support access to GSK Oncology products for appropriate patients.
• Educate providers on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies for GSK Oncology products; help providers understand GSK Patient Support Programs.
• Interface internally with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams.
• Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities.
• Provide offices product access/reimbursement expertise and education to field teams.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with third parties, including hubs.
• Provide subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access.
• Reports to Director of Oncology Access & Reimbursement.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3+ years’ experience in Field Reimbursement, Payer Marketing, or Oncology Field Sales (HCP administered or Specialty Pharmacy provided).
• Travel up to 60% including overnights.
• Live in or within 10 miles of the territory.
• Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA/MPH or other advanced degree.
• In larger geographies, live within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport.
• 6+ years’ experience in Field Reimbursement or Oncology Field Sales, Payer Marketing, or Patient Support Programs.
• Reimbursement experience for oral or infused/injected Oncology products across multiple sites of care.
• Knowledge of payer environment (state/federal/private), payer reimbursement methodologies, and policies for HCP and self-administered drugs.
• Customer-focused relationship-building; issue identification/resolution; problem-solving and project management.
• Ability to operate independently in a matrix environment without direct reports.
• Knowledge of provider office and hospital outpatient reimbursement environments and regulations.
• Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy access process.
• Understanding of Commercial and Medicare Parts A/B/C/D and state Medicaid reimbursement; HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 coding regulations.
• Experience working with HUBs or reimbursement call centers.
