Practice Info
• Full-time oncologist position with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Practice located at the Allina Health Cancer Institute in Minneapolis, MN and outreach at another cancer institute location
• Established team of 9 oncologists and 9 advanced practice providers
• Privademic care model combining academic-level medicine with community-based practice
• Team of 100+ oncology specialists, including medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists
• Epic EMR system for coordinated, connected care
Responsibilities
• Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being
• Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities
• Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management
• Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or work flows
• May participate in peer review and quality assurance
Compensation
• $525,000 to $550,000 per year starting base pay range

• Shift: Day/Night (United States of America)
• Shift Length: 8 hour shift
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Non-Union-NCT
• Weekend Rotation: Occasional
Requirements
• MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Hematology/Oncology fellowship training program required
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
• Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges
• BLS certification required within 180 days of hire
• H-1B visa sponsorship available
