Occupational Therapy Practitioner (OT or OTA) – Subcontract Position in Boca Raton, FL
Thrive Occupational Therapy is seeking a dedicated OT or OTA to join our growing team. We provide school‑based OT services to Lower School students (PK–2nd grade) in a private school setting, with a strong focus on helping each student succeed confidently in the classroom.
About the Role This is a subcontract position (no benefits) ideal for a practitioner who values flexibility, collaboration, and meaningful work with young learners. Candidates must carry their own professional liability insurance.
Schedule & Setting
• Monday–Friday, typically morning to early afternoon
• Follows the academic school year
• Summer school opportunities may be available but are not required
• Work takes place on‑site, current location Boca Raton, within a supportive private school environment
What We’re Looking For
• Preferred but not required experience, or strong interest in school‑based pediatric OT
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teachers and school staff
• Strong communication skills and a warm, professional presence
• Commitment to helping students build the skills needed for classroom success
Compensation
• Higher-than-typical pay for South Florida, reflecting the specialized nature of the role and the value we place on high‑quality practitioners
