Occupational Therapist School Setting - Port Orchard, WA

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid Washington State ESA certification

• Current Washington OT license

• Completion of fingerprinting process with OSPI

• Experience in a school-based setting preferred

• Knowledge in individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

• Ability to adapt therapy practices to elementary student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary students

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams

• Complete thorough evaluations and maintain detailed documentation

• Offer consultation and training to teachers and support staff on relevant OT strategies

• Engage with families to support student progress and school participation

• Participate actively in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to educational planning
