Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Delaware (or ability to obtain)

• Previous experience delivering OT services in schools, healthcare, and/or home health settings

• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEP) and special education processes

• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments to determine OT needs and develop treatment goals

• Deliver direct therapy services in alignment with student IEPs

• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and parents to implement effective interventions

• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed

• Advise on classroom modifications and adaptive equipment

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans

• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal guidelines
