Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Gynecologic Oncology

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their Gynecologic Oncology team at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital. This full-time role involves working under physician supervision in an outpatient clinical setting, with responsibilities including inpatient rounding, patient evaluations, and participation in a monthly call schedule. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to excellent patient care and augment medical services for gynecologic oncology patients.

Practice Info

• Outpatient clinical setting

• Team includes two physicians and another APP

• Utilizes EPIC as the health system EMR

Responsibilities

• Rounding and managing patients admitted to the hospital as inpatient

• Perform standard exams and procedures for initial evaluation of inpatient and emergency room consults

• Provide consultations and evaluate patients in office setting with supervision and clinical guidance as needed

• Participate in the monthly call schedule shared by two physicians and another APP

• Assist with management and triaging of clinical related patient phone calls

• Assist with management of results, rx requests, patient messages and inquiries via EPIC

• Contribute to excellent patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and leadership to the organization

• Coordinate chemotherapy treatments

Requirements

• Master's, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

• Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification

• Gynecology experience preferred
