Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Gonzalez Family and Occupational Medicine is hiring a full-time mid-level provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant). The clinic is a well-established practice in East Houston and is part of the Privia Medical Group.



Role & Requirements


- Candidate Type: Energetic and personable mid-level provider.
- Clinical Setting: The practice handles both family medicine and occupational medicine. Procedures and services include routine care, well exams, suturing, fracture care, wound care, injury care, and DOT physical examinations with on-site X-ray and testing.
- Current Team: Staffed by one Board Certified Family Medicine physician (Julian Gonzalez M.D.), two full-time mid-levels, and two part-time mid-levels.
- Language Skills: Fluent Spanish is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is required. The practice specifically uses Athena.




Schedule & Location


- Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Weekend Shift: Includes option to work one Saturday per month.
- Location: 11040 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77029.
