Job Description
PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA, is seeking a 0.6 FTE Nurse Practitioner for GYN Oncology. This role involves assisting with a new service in the OB Gyn department, focusing on supporting oncology patients through various stages of treatment and recovery. The ideal candidate will contribute to building this new service and managing patient care within a supportive hospital environment.

Responsibilities
• Assist with triaging patients
• Write orders for and see patients undergoing chemotherapy
• Manage chemotherapy side effects
• See post operative patients with complications
• Occasional rounding at the hospital
Compensation
• Guaranteed first-year income, based on years of direct experience (0-3, 3-5, 5-10, 10+): $65.86/hr - $82.46/hr
• Employment Bonus / Relocation stipend

Shift & Schedule
• Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Requirements
• Interest in building a new service to support oncology patients in the community
• Minimum of 1 year of post-training NP or PA experience, preferably in Oncology
• Flexibility with schedule is essential
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALs required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire
• Experience in OBGYN and with procedures including colposcopies and biopsies a bonus
