Job Description
Role: General Surgery Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities
• Manage pre- and post-operative surgical patients
• Assist in the operating room
• Perform patient assessments and order/interpret diagnostics
• Coordinate care with surgeons and hospital staff
• Document thoroughly and support discharge planning
• Follow clinical and hospital guidelines
Qualifications & Skills
• Current nursing licensure with NP certification
• Experience in surgical or inpatient care preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
