Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is seeking a compassionate and organized Oncology Clinic RN & Nurse Navigator to join our team. This role provides direct support to oncology patients while serving as a key coordinator throughout their care journey.
Position Overview
The Oncology Clinic RN & Nurse Navigator acts as a patient coordinator for Oncology Clinic patients, helping ensure timely access to care and a coordinated, patient-centered experience. This position works directly with patients, providers, and the healthcare team to help navigate appointments, treatments, and other healthcare needs.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Associates Degree in Nursing from two-year college nursing program.
Oncology experience is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must maintain a current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado
Must maintain a current CPR certification

Summary
Essential Responsibilities
Coordinates oncology patient care by facilitating timely appointments, treatments, referrals, and follow-up while ensuring individual patient needs are addressed.
Provides patient education and clinical support related to chemotherapy, medication administration, potential side effects, and other oncology-related care.
Coordinates with providers and healthcare teams to verify orders, confirm pre-authorizations, resolve care issues, and promote continuity of care.
Serves as a liaison between HRRMC, consulting/local physician offices, patients, and other healthcare services to support effective communication and collaboration.
Performs comprehensive clinic nursing and coordination duties, including patient assessments, telephone triage, scheduling, electronic health record documentation, and assisting patients and providers.
