Nuclear Medicine Technologist – PET/CT
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32216
Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–8:00 PM (exact shift/hours to be confirmed)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, with a strong emphasis on PET/CT imaging. The ideal candidate will have hands-on PET/CT experience, strong patient-care skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Perform PET/CT examinations independently and accurately.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and appropriately.
• Verify patient information, orders, and clinical history before procedures.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging equipment.
• Position and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and assess image quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and departmental policies.
• Assist with quality control and equipment troubleshooting as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
• PET/CT experience is REQUIRED.
• Appropriate Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification/credentials as required by the facility.
