Job Description
Ohio Valley Imaging Services (OVIS) is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support outpatient cardiac imaging and advanced molecular imaging services throughout Northern Virginia.
This role includes a mix of SPECT MPI and PET-CT imaging in established outpatient cardiology and physician office settings.
We offer flexible scheduling with opportunities ranging from part-time recurring coverage to expanded full-time clinical involvement depending on candidate availability, scheduling preferences, and regional growth needs.

Position Details
• Flexible schedule ranging from part-time to expanded clinical coverage
• Coverage includes outpatient cardiology and physician office locations throughout Northern Virginia
• Sites clustered geographically whenever possible
• Consistent recurring clinic assignments preferred when feasible
Compensation
• Competitive daily compensation ranging from $400–$525/day based on experience
• Travel reimbursement available
• Additional coverage opportunities available
• Potential for expanded role responsibilities as the program grows
Responsibilities
• Perform SPECT MPI studies (rest/stress)
• Support PET-CT imaging operations as assigned
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage patient flow
• Support and monitor patients during stress testing
• Maintain compliance with ACR/IAC standards
• Complete accurate, audit-ready documentation
• Coordinate professionally with physicians and office staff
Requirements
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required
• PET experience preferred but not required for all candidates
• Strong IV placement skills required
• Cardiac nuclear/MPI experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the region
• Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
Licensure
• Virginia Nuclear Medicine licensure preferred
• Candidates with appropriate credentials who are eligible for Virginia licensure are encouraged to apply
