Job Description
Job Summary: Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.
• Full-Time/Day Shift - Working Monday- Friday from 8am-4:30pm

Required Qualifications:
• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Or
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
Preferred Qualification:
• 2 years of Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Basic Life Support (BLS), Biotech and Pharmaceutical, Nuclear Medicine, Prescription Drugs, Quality Control, Quality Monitoring
