Nuclear Medicine Technologist

The role involves providing high-quality nuclear medicine imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and care. Responsibilities include administering radionuclides, positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, and optimizing image quality with minimal repeats. You will document procedures accurately, ensure proper patient identification, and follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff. Additionally, you will perform quality control, maintain patient safety, and support patient care across all age groups using professional judgment.

Qualified candidates should have completed an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program with Nuclear Medicine specialization. Prior experience is preferred. Key skills include proficiency with electronic systems and imaging equipment. Certification as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registration in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) is required, along with current state licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary. The position demands professional communication, appearance, conduct, and the ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
