Per Diem/Variable Shift

In this position, you will perform vital Nuclear Medicine examinations used for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes under the supervision of a physician. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, administering prescribed doses of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performing calculations, and manipulating data according to established protocols. You will also ensure the proper preparation and ordering of radioactive materials, calibrate equipment, conduct quality control, monitor patients, and handle other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist or
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
