Nuclear Medicine Radiologist – Fully Remote | PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine | Florida Space Coast

An established, physician-owned radiology practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to provide fully remote evening coverage supporting hospitals and imaging facilities throughout Florida's Space Coast.

This opportunity offers a combination of fully remote work, predictable block scheduling, competitive earning potential, and significant time away from clinical practice.

The primary clinical focus is PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine, while qualified physicians may also participate in a broader diagnostic imaging case mix.

For physicians who are Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, basic interventional procedures may be available based on training, experience, credentialing, and interest.

Job Responsibilities: Interpret PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine examinations

Interpret assigned diagnostic imaging studies within the physician's qualified scope

Provide accurate, timely, and clinically actionable reports

Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive examinations appropriately

Review relevant clinical history and prior imaging

Communicate critical and unexpected findings promptly

Consult with referring physicians and clinical teams

Collaborate remotely with technologists, hospital teams, and fellow radiologists

Maintain appropriate turnaround times and diagnostic quality

Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Follow patient-safety, quality, regulatory, and professional standards

Participate in optional additional coverage when desired
Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Nuclear Medicine fellowship training and/or Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine through an appropriate residency pathway

Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Florida medical license

Ability to satisfy applicable hospital credentialing requirements

Strong PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine interpretation skills

Strong clinical judgment

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to communicate urgent findings promptly

Reliable home-reading environment and connectivity suitable for remote interpretation

Ability to work independently within a high-volume clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

Active Florida medical license

Active Authorized User status on a valid Radioactive Materials License

Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine or Diagnostic Radiology

Experience with PET/CT

Broad Nuclear Medicine experience

Emergency or hospital-based radiology experience

Experience with centralized remote-reading environments

Diagnostic Radiology Board Certification for physicians interested in basic interventional procedures
Working Hours: Choose from predictable block scheduling:



7 consecutive evenings on / 7 days off

7 consecutive evenings on / 14 days off



Available shifts:



3:00 PM–11:00 PM ET

4:00 PM–12:00 AM ET



The position is fully remote, with no routine travel to the clinical facilities.
