Job Description
Facility in Pittsburgh, PA seeking Nuclear Medicine locums coverage Rates: Open rates - willing to present using pay rates you suggest ( ) Opportunity Highlights • Start Date: April 1, 2026.
• Work Setting: 100% Remote / Work from Home.
• Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (Part-time).
• Commitment: Minimum of 5 shifts per month (Additional shifts available based on interest).
• Work-Life Balance: No On-Call, No Rounding, and No Weekend requirements.
• EMR/Charting: Cerner PowerChart (Transitioning to Epic).
Clinical Scope Primary Responsibilities: • Interpreting Nuclear Medicine and PET studies for the academic core.
• Focusing on an outpatient backlog from five different primary sites.
• Volume: Approximately 30 outpatient studies per day.
• Demographic: 100% Adult.
Provider Requirements • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nuclear Medicine.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience.
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania state license preferred. (The facility will consider candidates willing to obtain a new PA license).
• Compliance: Active DEA registration is required.
• Certifications: Active ACLS.
Credentialing & Logistics • Timeline: Approximately 60 days to full privileging.
• Travel: This is a remote position; no travel is permitted or reimbursed.
• Submission Note: Candidates must specifically state their monthly shift commitment (minimum 5, or more if available).
