Advanced Practice Provider (APP) In Orthopedic Medicine

Aboutthis role
As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Orthopedic Medicine, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and an exceptional patient experience.
In this role, you will work alongside a well-established group of orthopedic surgeons and APPs, caring for patients at our Orthopedic Walk-In Services in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Position details include
- Providing care during scheduled clinic hours at the Rocky Mountain Orthopedic Clinic
- Working in a PRN capacity with flexible scheduling, up to 20 hours per week; clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday - Saturday
- Evaluating and treating a range of orthopedic injuries and conditions; performing minor procedures such as:

- Reductions
- Joint injections
- Laceration repair and wound care
- Splinting and casting
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years in direct clinical orthopedic experience (required)
- Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Please note, new graduates will not be considered for this position

What you'll bring
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
