Job Description
To support a pioneering approach in cancer survivorship care, the part-time Consulting Psychiatrist will provide systematic case reviews, advise on treatment strategies, and educate a multidisciplinary team, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct structured case reviews with behavioral health clinicians to prioritize patient needs
• Advise on tailored treatment strategies for cancer survivors, including medication management
• Deliver ongoing education to the care team regarding psychiatric conditions related to cancer survivorship
Required qualifications
• Board certification in Psychiatry (MD or DO)
• Active, unrestricted medical license, preferably in New York
• Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical experience
• Experience or strong interest in psycho-oncology or integrated care models
• Proficiency with evidence-based treatment of psychiatric conditions relevant to oncology
