Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical and oncology patients during variable shifts
• Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly react to changes in patients' conditions
• Safely administer medications, IV therapies, and chemotherapy (if certified)
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and update individualized care plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and discharge processes
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
• Uphold strict infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Engage in quality improvement efforts and participate in staff meetings
• Foster a compassionate, patient-centered environment while mentoring and supporting less experienced team members
