Field Medical Liaison - Uro-Oncology/Bladder Cancer

Ferring seeks a passionate, strategic, results-driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support the Uro-Oncology/Bladder Cancer therapeutic area. Responsibilities
• Present accurate, unbiased, balanced and timely answers to unsolicited requests for information about bladder cancer to healthcare professionals and decision makers.
• Establish scientific and clinical relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to expand research and educational opportunities.
• Provide study support from protocol and budget development to submission and completion for PhaseIV and Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs).
• Provide continuing field scientific support and training for sales and Corporate Account Managers (CAMs).
• Document and forward reports of adverse events to appropriate personnel.
• Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in the therapeutic area.
• Proactively report competitive activities and events that can influence the use of product(s).
• Develop and deliver scientific/educational programs, including formulary presentations for managed care and related organizations.
• Assist Medical Affairs and agency personnel in developing presentations and slide kits.
• Participate in advisory boards, speaker-training events, clinical investigator meetings, regional, national and international meetings when required.
• Assist in processing field requests for medical education funding.
• Staff medical information booths at key medical and scientific conferences; gather competitive intelligence. Qualifications
• Doctorate degree (D.V.M., M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D.) in biological sciences.
• Minimum of 2years of previous MSL experience.
• Experience in Uro-Oncology, Urology or Oncology required.
• Ability to apply technical expertise and solutions to diverse/individualized situations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of FDA and OIG requirements as well as clinical trial design and statistics.
• Teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues.
• Networking skills and confidence to interact with senior experts on a peer-to-peer level.
• Critical data analysis skills.
• Willingness to keep up to date with scientific literature.
• High level of emotional intelligence to work effectively with stakeholders.
• Represents the organization as a prime field medical contact. Physical Requirements

Field-based role with willingness to travel 60% or more of the time. Northeast Territory: Maine, Massachusetts, NewHampshire, RhodeIsland, Vermont. Location
