Job Description
The Radiation Oncology nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of patients in the radiation oncology department. The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The radiation oncology nurse is responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling and assisting physicians with exams and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the radiation oncology department.
• Conduct patient education, physical assessment, and nutrition counseling.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
Qualifications
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Bachelor's Degree – Nursing.
• ~1 year of oncology experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Compensation & Benefits
• 3,000 USD sign‑on bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment.
