Medical Oncologist/Hematologist

Join the world-renowned UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie, Pennsylvania, as a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care within a growing program, participating in numerous clinical trials available throughout the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network. The successful candidate will be part of an integrated, physician-led network, working alongside an experienced team to provide comprehensive oncology treatments.

Practice Info

• Join a growing program in the world-renowned UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie

• Practice located near the UPMC Hamot campus

• Offering the latest medical oncology treatments and clinical trials

• Physicians are well supported as part of an integrated, physician-led network of clinicians

• Work with an experienced team of medical oncologists/hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, lab, pharmacy and support staff

• Practice includes outpatient and inpatient medical consults, chemotherapy, lab and supportive therapy visits

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality care

• Participate in numerous clinical trials available throughout the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network

• Provide care in the clinic and hospital

• Share on-call coverage with physician colleagues

Compensation

• $500K base plus wRVU bonus

• Partnership track, no buy in

• $25K signing bonus

• Highly competitive and commensurate with experience

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time

• Care is provided in the clinic and hospital Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm

• On-call coverage is shared between physician colleagues

Requirements

• Excellent clinical skills

• Interested in delivering high quality care

• Able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license

• Board certified/board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology

• J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
