Sky Lakes Medical Center is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Medical Oncologist or Hematologist-Oncologist to join our expanding team. Serving as the regional oncology hub across Southern Oregon and Northern California, our center combines the clinical sophistication of a modern cancer program with the community-centered mission of an independent, award-winning health system .

The Practice: High Autonomy & Sustainable Pacing


•
Sustainable Workweek: 4-day clinical workweek paired with 1 dedicated administrative day.



•
Balanced Volume: Focused, relationship-driven care averaging approximately 15 patients per day.



•
Practice Scope: Primarily outpatient clinic with rewarding inpatient consult opportunities.



•
Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate closely with an on-site Radiation Oncologist, dedicated Oncology APP, specialized infusion RNs, clinical navigators, and oncology pharmacists .



•
Light Call: Strictly telephone-only call, limited to 8 days per month.

Production-Based Bonus

$25,000 quarterly bonus for meeting/exceeding 50th percentile MGMA (4,525 annual wRVUs / 1,131 quarterly)




Engagement-Based Bonus

$50,000



$12,500 quarterly bonus for leadership across staff education/mentorship, system integration (tumor board, palliative care), and community engagement




Sign-On Incentive

$25,000 / year



$100,000 total sign-on bonus paid in annual $25,000 installments at hire and anniversaries for years 2–4

Long-Term Retention Bonus: A $50,000 one-time retention bonus paid on your 5-year service anniversary (not included in annual total) .

Qualifications



•
Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology-Oncology (MD or DO); eligible for or holding an active Oregon medical license .



•
Experience Level: Open to both experienced oncologists and upcoming/recent graduates (1–2 years of practice preferred, but not required).
