Job Description
IU Health Medical Group South Region in Bloomington is seeking a medical oncologist to join their experienced team in southern Indiana. The role offers the opportunity to work in the new IU Health Bloomington Hospital at the Regional Academic Health Campus with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Clinicians will provide leading-edge cancer care primarily in an outpatient setting with access to advanced technologies and robust ancillary services.
Practice Info
• Opportunity to work in the new IU Health Bloomington Hospital (opened in December 2021) at the Regional Academic Health Campus
• Practice locations include primarily Bloomington, with 1 day of outreach in Bedford
• 95% outpatient / 5% inpatient
• Team: 9 physicians (Hem Onc & Rad Onc), 3 advanced practice providers
• Comprehensive accredited cancer center in: Commission on Cancer (COC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), and American College of Radiology (ACR)
Responsibilities
• Provide patient care with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
• Opportunity to teach medical students, if desired, with clinical faculty appointment at Indiana University School of Medicine - Bloomington Campus

• Signing bonus

Requirements
• Candidate must be American Board Eligible or Board Certified in Oncology and Hematology
• Residents, fellows and practicing physicians are invited to apply
• Able to support H-1B Visa candidates
