Join OptumCare Cancer Care, a leading multi-specialty group dedicated to transforming integrated, value-based cancer treatment. We are looking for passionate Medical Oncologists to provide top-tier patient care in an innovative environment.

At OptumCare Cancer Care Services, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including medical oncology, surgical oncology, imaging, semi-private infusion bays, an angio suite, and breast care. Additional services include palliative care, genetic counseling, and access to a patient resource library. We are excited to announce the opening of a new, full-service location in Henderson, Nevada, scheduled for September 2025.
Position Highlights:
• Enjoy a balanced Monday through Friday work schedule.
• Inpatient consults focus only on established patients or those qualifying for our services, with consultations shared among the team based on volume and need.
• Manageable patient volume allows for a more personalized approach to care.
• Call is shared among team members, limited to one week at a time.
• Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient record management.
• Work within an integrated team-based model, collaborating with oncology advanced practice clinicians, a dedicated breast care team, and a radiation oncology team to provide the best patient experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Receive a highly competitive compensation package, including base pay, a sign-on bonus, and a quarterly bonus plan.

Required Qualifications:
• Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
• Possess an unrestricted license to practice in Nevada or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Have a DEA License or the ability to obtain one before starting employment.
The salary range for this position is $281,500 to $708,000 annually. This range is based on total cash compensation at target and is influenced by factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group ensures compliance with all applicable wage laws. Besides salary, benefits include a wide-ranging selection of incentives, recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401k contributions, all subject to eligibility requirements.
