Role Overview
Holy Cross Hospital is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for its brand‑new Cancer Center located in Wheaton, Maryland. The facility is within walking distance to a metro station and a short metro ride to Washington, D.C., and co‑located with the latest radiation technology.

Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations across all cancer disciplines.
• Develop and deliver treatment plans for all cancer types, including coordination with tertiary care centers when required.
• Deliver licensed medical care including diagnosis, treatment (inclusive of surgery or pre/post‑surgical care where appropriate), case management, and clinical research.
• Manage complex and sometimes unpredictable situations, demonstrating technical, clinical, surgical, cognitive, and interpersonal competence.
• Practice within the established Medical Center policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice.
• Adhere to the key results areas of the Medical Center.
• Support the mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Qualifications
• MD/DO with board certification in Hematology/Oncology or related specialty.
• Valid medical license in Maryland.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient oncology care.
• Strong clinical and surgical skill set appropriate to a comprehensive cancer center.
• Excellent cognitive and interpersonal skills to serve diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
