• Collaborate directly with sponsors, CROs, medical monitors, external medical providers, and executive leadership.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, best practices, quality programs, and process improvements.
• Monitor the effectiveness of quality initiatives and support corrective and preventive actions when needed.
• Participate in sponsor meetings, site initiation visits, monitoring visits, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Support the hiring, training, supervision, and development of clinical research personnel.
• Provide site leadership with regular updates on clinical performance, quality, staffing, and study execution.
• Ensure the site maintains appropriate resources and remains inspection-ready.
• Serve as a senior medical representative of the site within the local medical and research communities.
Required Qualifications
• MD or DO degree.
• Active and unrestricted U.S. medical license, with eligibility to obtain Florida licensure.
• Strong clinical trial management, oversight, or investigator experience.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and clinical trial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple studies, priorities, and clinical teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced clinical research environment.
• Experience conducting or overseeing industry-sponsored clinical trials.
• Experience working directly with sponsors, CROs, medical monitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience participating in sponsor audits or regulatory inspections.
