Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting providers and nursing leadership to deliver exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless and compassionate patient experience. What You Will Do
• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
• Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks to support patient care and provider efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Additional Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR
Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR
Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR
Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR
Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
• Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
