About the Department
Join our dedicated team at the Moross Road campus, where we proudly serve Detroit's east side and the Grosse Pointes. As a community anchor, our location offers easy access to lakefront parks, historic architecture, and a convenient commute along the Detroit River corridor. Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the supervision of providers and leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience. Your contributions will directly support our healthcare providers in delivering exceptional care.

What You Will Do
• Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
• Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
• Measure and record vital signs, preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the clinical team.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description.
• Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
