Position Overview

Under general supervision of the department manager, medical staff, nursing staff, and Sr Medical Assistant/Lead Medical Assistant, the Certified Medical Assistant follows policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. The role provides clinical and clerical support, which includes patient rooming, assistance with medical procedures, cleaning of equipment, chart preparation, and obtaining referral notes, images, and lab results prior to patient visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support to the healthcare team.

• Room patients efficiently and prepare charts.

• Assist with medical procedures and maintain clean equipment.

• Obtain referral notes, images, and lab results before patient visits.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant OR Registered Medical Assistant OR Certified Medical Assistant OR MA-ARMA

• Basic Life Support certification

• Minimum of 3 months of experience in a healthcare setting
