Mechanical Technician

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

1st shift position
Pay $18-$25/hr. DOE


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations, and specifications to determine layouts,

· Align and fit structural assemblies manually

· Assemble prefabricated parts to form subassemblies

· Assemble, install, connect parts, fittings, and assemblies on equipment, using layout tools, hand tools, power tools, and fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, and clamps

· Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances to ensure proper fit and clearance of parts

· Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds


QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED; if Electrical Service Tech, requires an associate's degree


· 2-5+ years of work experience as a Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or Mechanical Technician, Service Technician

· Must be willing to work in fast paced environment with tight timeline-some travel to client sites required
