I’m working with an innovative space company developing a new generation of
reusable in-space transportation vehicles, and they’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team.

This is a highly hands-on position where you’ll have significant ownership across the
design, analysis, build, integration and testing of spacecraft hardware.





You could work across primary and secondary structures, propellant tanks, docking and capture systems, propulsion components, deployables, actuators and other mechanical systems.





What they’re looking for:


- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals across mechanics, materials and dynamics
- Experience designing and analysing aerospace or spacecraft structures
- Strong CAD and FEA experience
- Experience with mechanisms, actuators and/or deployable systems
- Hands-on hardware prototyping, testing, integration and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting structural or environmental test campaigns
- Comfortable working across multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Scripting or programming experience would be advantageous






This would suit an engineer who enjoys taking end-to-end ownership of hardware, working at pace and solving challenging mechanical problems rather than operating within a narrowly defined remit.
