Massage Therapist - Per Diem

Beloit Health System is looking to add a Per Diem Massage Therapist to our Team at NorthPointe!Shift: VariedSchedule: 1:30pm - 10pm (primarily)Hours per week: Varied - Per DiemBenefits Status: Not EligibleDepartment: NorthPointe SpaThe Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services and body wraps to promote relaxation, reduce pain and stress, improve circulation, and support overall wellness. Perform professional therapeutic massage treatments and body wraps tailored to individual patient and client needs.Conduct client assessments and review health histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.Utilize a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and other approved modalities within scope of practice.Document treatment plans, patient progress, and services provided in accordance with hospital policies.Educate patients and clients on self-care practices, stretching, wellness, and stress management techniques.Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and sanitary condition.Adhere to infection prevention, safety, privacy, and professional practice standards.Monitor patient response during treatment and modify techniques as appropriate.JOB REQUIREMENTSCompletion of an accredited Massage Therapy program.Current Illinois state licensure as a Massage TherapistExcellent hands-on therapeutic massage skills.Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with patients and clients.Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.Professionalism, empathy, and compassion.CPR certification within 90 days of hireKnowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and therapeutic massage techniques.Strong communication and customer service skills.Apply to join our team today!
