Mario Balsa: Excited and Proud to Join the Catalan Society of Oncology Board of Directors

Mario Balsa, Medical Oncology Resident at Catalan Institute of Oncology, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am truly excited and deeply proud to join the Board of Directors of the Catalan Society of Oncology as the Medical Oncology Representative.

I would like to thank the Society for the trust placed in me. I take on this responsibility with ambition, commitment and a deep sense of responsibility towards our profession.

Catalan oncology stands for talent, excellence, research, innovation and outstanding patient care. We have exceptional professionals and leading institutions that place us in a privileged position. But excellence alone is not enough. We must amplify our voice, strengthen collaborations, increase our visibility and continue leading the future of oncology.

I am convinced that, together, we can promote new initiatives, build meaningful partnerships and further establish Catalan oncology as an international benchmark for excellence, innovation and leadership.

A new chapter begins. I look forward to contributing with energy, responsibility and a genuine determination to make a difference.”
