Suburban Hospital's cancer care program is dedicated to preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer for residents in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. In partnership with community physicians, staff, other health care providers and research affiliates, the program provides a comprehensive range of high quality, compassionate and cost-effective services, including health education, screening, clinical research, diagnosis, treatment, psychosocial support and palliative care. The cancer program, part of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, is committed to the early detection of cancers.

Position

We are currently searching for a Manager, Radiation Oncology to lead our elite Radiation Therapy team. As a Radiation Oncology Manager your will:

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate therapy and administrative staff

• Perform direct clinical care up to 40%

• Serve as senior clinical resource for complex cases and workflow challenges

• Coordinate daily clinic operations

• Facilitate initiatives within the department to recruit and retain staff

• Maintain competency validation and ensure training

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy accredited program.

• 7 years of progressive radiation therapy experience.

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy

• Current state certification for Medical Radiation Technologist

• CPR

Salary Range

Minimum $63.00/hour - Maximum $110.22/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
