LPN Oncology

Job Title: LPN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years License: Valid compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Ability to float between clinics as needed Description: ASAP start is preferred. Clinicians must verify that they are comfortable with floating 3-4 times per month to different locations as needed for coverage. The LPN will primarily work at the designated location. LPNs will provide patient and family education and support. They will assess vital signs and handle pharmacy calls. LPNs will be responsible for labeling specimens and documenting patient pain and concerns for the provider. First-timers are accepted for this position. Weekend work is not required, and there is no on-call requirement. Candidates should be aware that float requirements will include nearby clinics. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. The refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment. Candidates must commit to working three of the five holidays during the contract period.
