Position Overview

Breast Imaging (On-Site Only). At this time, local candidates only. 2-3 days per week, 2-4 weeks per month.

Fellowship trained on-site radiologist coverage to support screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, along with proficiency in image-guided procedures such as biopsies, localizations, and aspirations. Breast radiologists must be highly knowledgeable in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements, detail-oriented in reporting, and comfortable managing same-day diagnostic workups.

Hours 8a-4p.

Key Responsibilities

Screening Mammography 45-55% (approximately 35-40 per shift)

Diagnostics 25-35%

Procedures 15-25%

Strong patient-facing communication skills are essential, as results and procedures are often discussed directly with patients. The role demands the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, clinic-based environment while collaborating closely with technologists, nurses, surgeons, and oncology teams.

Candidate Requirements

Fellowship trained in breast imaging.

Highly knowledgeable in BI-RADS and MQSA requirements.

Detail-oriented in reporting.

Comfortable managing same-day diagnostic workups.

Excellent patient communication skills.

Board Certified Radiology - Breast Imaging Required
Active MI License - Required
Fellowship Required
BLS Required
Trauma Level I, II
