Job Description
Seeking a locum tenens role, this position involves providing specialized medical care with a focus on hematology and oncology.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 16 patients daily, increasing to 18-20 as volume grows, with new patient appointments lasting one hour and follow-ups 30 minutes.
The role requires hospital privileges and involves a 3-4 day workweek with a 1:5 call rotation.
Key duties include diagnosing and treating hematology and oncology cases, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications include relevant medical licensure, hospital privileges, and experience in hematology and oncology.
Skills needed encompass excellent clinical judgment, strong communication, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
Compensation ranges from $375.00 to $500.00 hourly, inclusive of base pay, overtime, call, and holiday pay.
Additional benefits include paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, online assignment management, and 24-hour consultant support.
