Availability

• Start Date: July 28, 2026 (Onboarding July 27)
• Assignment Length: 6 months
• Schedule: Tuesday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No call

License Requirements

• Active Kentucky Medical License – Required
OR
• IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand – Required

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology – Required
• Radiation Oncology Residency/Fellowship – Required
• BLS – Preferred (must have by assignment start)
• DEA – Preferred (must have for assignment; prescription plan available if DEA is pending)
• ACLS – Nice to have
• PALS – Nice to have
• NRP – Nice to have

Practice Setting

• Ambulatory Radiation Oncology Clinic
• Approximately 20 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Variety of oncologic disease states

Clinical Responsibilities

• New patient consultations
• Follow-up visits
• Treatment planning
• Treatment oversight
• Status checks
• Tumor board/conference participation

Required Procedures

• Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
• Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
• Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT)
• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

Support Staff

• 1 Registered Nurse
• 4 Radiation Therapists
• 2 Medical Physicists
• 3 Dosimetrists

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology – Required
• Radiation Oncology Residency/Fellowship – Required
• Active Kentucky Medical License or IMLC LOQ – Required
• BLS by assignment start – Preferred
• DEA for assignment (or acceptable prescription plan if pending) – Preferred

Additional Details

• Coverage needed due to provider resignation
• Outpatient-only practice
• No call responsibilities
• Epic EMR
• Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology team
