Compensation
• Hourly: $140/hour
• Overtime: $200/hour

Schedule
• Full-Time Coverage
• Monday-Friday
• Day Shifts
• Schedule: Approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Mix of Outpatient Clinic and Inpatient Care
• Daily Inpatient Rounding: Approximately 1-2 Hours Based on Consult Volume
• No Call
Patient Population / Volume
• Outpatient Volume: Approximately 18-22 Patients
• Inpatient Volume Varies Based on Consults
Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant Coverage
• Provide Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic Care
• Provide Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Care
• Perform Daily Inpatient Rounding
• Evaluate and Manage Hematology/Oncology Patients
• Manage Inpatient Consults
• Perform Biopsies as Needed
Clinical Support
• Hematology/Oncology Physician Onsite in Clinic
Requirements
• Board-Certified Physician Assistant - Required
• Minimum of 2 Years of Recent Hematology/Oncology Experience OR New Graduate With Completed Hematology/Oncology Rotation
• At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Hematology/Oncology - Required
• Rhode Island Physician Assistant License - Required
• Candidates Requiring Rhode Island Licensure May Be Considered
• DEA - Required
• CSR - Required
• COVID-19 Vaccination - Required, Medical Exemptions Only
• Flu Vaccination - Required, Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
Credentialing
• Temporary Privileges May Be Available for an Earlier Start
• Rhode Island Physician Assistant Licensure May Take Approximately 4-8 Weeks
• License Verification Required at Submission if Currently Licensed in Rhode Island
